Order of Canada

The Investiture ceremony stands out as one of the most inspiring experiences of my life. Hearing what the others being acknowledged had done with their lives left me humbled. When I mentioned that to one of Governors-General’s staff, she said, “Everyone feels that way. And, that you’ve been awarded The Order of Canada indicates how much your country values Storytellers.”
